Piano Apprentice App Reviews

I give it 3 stars even though it is a great app. The Piano guy is great but needed to slow down the first time through so I could catch the notes. Im able to follow the lead sheets so that helped. However Greensleeves was missing the lead sheet. Also their should be more songs and tutorials. At least a place where you can buy them cheaply. After paying $90 for the piano I felt I got short changed on the app. Give us a way to get more songs or update the app for new levels and songs. There were only about 4-5 songs!

Fun to find this app to teach a few songs. Took a minute to figure out that it scrolls for more songs. The play along feature is cool, but a short lead-in would be nice, so I can try to play along.

First off, Im not the programmer of this ap writing my own review, Im found this ap surfing the iTunes store. I have absolutely no talent for music and little rhythm. And yet Im playing a couple songs now with the aid of this ap! Really, it demistifies what seems a really complicated thing and makes it doable for someone, like me, who has 10 thumbs. If you are even remotely interested, I recommend getting this ap! Im 50, Ive always wanted to play, and now I am!!!!! Gerry from San Diego, CA

Great app. I have the piano apprentice as well. Just need an update with more songs.

My 9 year old played with this for a couple of hours. Within 2 days, he sat down at the piano and played an entire jingle with ease. I am beyond impressed with & amazed by this app! Awesomeness!!!!

Thank you Scott. I have been playing with this app all weekend. I have already learned the melody to three songs. Could you please add more songs? I would like to learn how to play some classical pieces.

I keep getting an error saying unable to update at this time on my iPad. I paid $99 for the keyboard that uses this app and I can not use it at all because it has been trying to update for months!

Cool program, solid enough piano... But no headphone jack? I had read on a review somewhere that it did have a jack for headphones, but not on mine.

Right hand only tutorial starts off with song but then, shows the tutorial. looks like a great thing for the kids,,

Good, fun easy. It just needs more Songs.

It says that the keys light up to help you learn to play along, but they do not and its hard to remember from just watching the tutorial video.

In all the right hand, left hand and hands together "download required" starts to download and gets "download failed" about 1/3 of the way, everything I can see works great, seems like a good app otherwise!>)

Simple but fun app. Easy to learn the piano

This is shoddy work by the developer. However, the instructional video is quality. You MUST start at the beginning of the 3 - 4 minute video. There is no way to go 10 seconds back in the video. Some times I just want to rewind it a little bit. Unfortunately this standard video play back feature is not offered.

This assumes you already know something about the piano as its rally hard to get around the app and practice Do not recommend for new people.
